The Department of Computer Science engages in the research, education, and service activities required creating and disseminating the knowledge of problem solving using computers.

Make Expertise in computing to solve deep, complex, multidimensional and challenging problems which requiring imagination and sensitivity to a variety of concerns.

  • Prepare students to be leaders and decision makers, articulate and principled, innovative and confident, and able to think critically with sound reasoning ability.

  • Give Academic & Research Excellence

  • Modernize and strengthen undergraduate and graduate programs.

  • Increase undergraduate and graduate student participation in national regional programs and conferences.

  • Track and report the professional success of undergraduate students.

  • Identify the sub-disciplines in computer science and software engineering from which results are needed to address hard applications.

  • Increase percentage of women and minority capability.

  • Provide necessary equipment and technology.

  • Update technology in a systematic manner yearly.

  • Maximize the use of technology.

  • Knowledge of ethical, social, and legal issues pertaining to computer science.

  • Enhance the quality of life for students and the community.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving techniques using the computer.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least two high-level programming languages and two operating systems.
