History

The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 2007.The Department of Mathematics is one of the Challenging departments, serving to the needs of the Under Graduate students in Mathematics. At present it is functioning as a full-fledged department with nine qualified faculty members with 200 students. The Postgraduate programme was started in the year 2010. Demand for the UG programme resulted in the launch of the B.Sc. Mathematics (Additional Section) programme in 2015.

• Strengthening the knowledge of mathematical concepts using models, ict, enabled teaching.
